Melrose High School (Memphis, Tennessee)
Melrose High School is a public high school located in Memphis, Tennessee, in the Orange Mound area, serving 1557 students in grades 9–12. It is a part of the Shelby County Unified School District.
Melrose High School did not make AYP in 2007. Under No Child Left Behind, a school makes Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) if it achieves the minimum levels of improvement determined by the state of Tennessee in terms of student performance and other accountability measures. See Melrose High School's test results to learn more about school performance. Beginning in the 2014-2015 school year, Melrose will become an Innovation Zone School.
Melrose High School has 21 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The Tennessee average is 16 students per full-time equivalent teacher.
